The Penis Anatomy

We have received a number of requests telling us to add a few of the Penis Anatomy diagrams. So for obvious reasons we would like to oblige to the requests made and managed to get a few of the pictures from a number of sites to whom the entire rights belong, so any appraisal should be directed to them; Big-Penis and PenisHealth.

Corpa cavernosa: Penis Anatomy explains this as two spongy erectile tissue bodies on both the sides of the penis called corpora cavernosa which gets engorged when blood flow from arteries in the penis, and hence they result in an erection.

Corona: corona is said to be the ‘crown,’ which located at the joining part of head and shaft is a ridge of demarcating flesh.

Epididymis: According to the Penis Anatomy, the produced sperm by the seminiferous tubules mature is held in a ‘holding pen’ called as the Epididymis, and the sperm sits here until the act of ejaculation or a nocturnal emission occurs.

Cowper’s glands: A small quantity of a pre-ejaculate is secreted by the Cowper’s gland before orgasm, so that the acidity inside the urethra is neutralized.

Foreskin, prepuce: In uncircumcised men, Penis Anatomy describes foreskin as a skin roll covering the head of the penis.

Ejaculatory ducts: This is the path used by the semen for travelling through the seminal glands for ejaculation purpose.

Prostate gland: This is also responsible for the fluid production to make up for the semen, and as explained in Penis Anatomy this gland also shuts the urethral duct to the bladder, so that there is no mixture of urine with the semen and the amount of ph balance required by the semen is not disturbed.

MaleExtraSeminal vesicles: According to the Penis Anatomy, seminal vesicles are responsible to produce semen, which actually both activates and protects the sperm once it has been ejaculated from the penis.

Glans: As you can see it properly in the Penis Anatomy, Glans is the head of the penis, and for some of the uncircumcised men it is normally covered up with the foreskin.

Scrotum: Hanging below and behind the penis is a sac which is described as the Scrotum in Penis Anatomy, and it is shelter for the testes, sexual glands of male. It has an important task, i.e. to approximately maintain the testes at a temperature of about 34 c, which is an ideal temperature of producing sperm.

Testes, testicles: These are the two testes which are the sexual glands of a male, and rest within scrotum. They are responsible of producing testosterone and sperm. There is about a kilometer of seminiferous tubules ducts within each testis, which are the sperm generating organs. Each testicle is capable of producing approximately one hundred and fifty sperm for every single day.

Smemga: In uncircumcised men, this is like a substance with outline of cheese on both sides of frenulum by the glands.

Urethra, meatus: Penis Anatomy explains urethra as a means of transport of both semen and urine out by a tiny opening at the peak of the penis.

Vas deferens: The ducts which get cut in the course of an act known as vasectomy are the Vas deferens. These are the ducts that lead through the Epididymis to the seminal vesicles.
